About Us

The Dallas Prestige Group is a 501c3 non-profit organization that was originally founded in 2013 by Brandon Stovall as The Icon Group. At its inception, the mission was to assist high school athletes prepare for SAT/ACT and apply for financial aid. We first focused on basketball programming for school aged youth through local recreation centers. Interest in the program grew quickly, along with the desire to do more and to become more. The organization recognized this and began to explore other opportunities to further help our youth excel. With this, we began to expand programming from just basketball to SEL and youth leadership development.

 

In our first year, we changed our name to The Dallas Prestige Group (DPG) and began to build upon the new framework. DPG then built partnerships with other organizations and youth program providers as well as school districts and charters. It wasn’t until summer 2018 we were able to launch our first summer day camp, Prestige Summer Camp. The following school year we were able to launch our first after-school program, Prestige Partners! in partnership with Dallas ISD at Charles Rice. Both programs have proven to be successful and are now in demand. We are excited about these programs and the path we are paving. Even more-so, we are excited about connecting with you.
